Plate reverbs are among the most used reverb types in the music industry.
It sounded smoother and more natural than the spring reverb, and at the same time didn't demand a dedicated space, like the echo chamber.

As is implied by the name, plates are metal sheets that are hanging in cases, suspended in a way that allows the plate to vibrate well.
The plate is excited by a signal it gets from a transducer, and then vibrates according to that signal. The vibrations are captured elsewhere in the plate by two contact microphones, creating a stereo reverberation effect.

Power
Turn the unit ON or OFF.Unlike the blend control, this control fully bypasses the unit to avoid any processing of the signal.
Model
This switch lets you pick three different plate models for further versatility.Blend
Blends between the preamped signal and the reverberated signal. This lets you process audio with the tube preamp only.Drive
Adjusts the gain of the input signal fed into the valve preamp. Push it harder to add some beautiful vacuum colored saturation.Decay
Adjusts the reverberation time. The longer the decay, the longer the reverb tails will be.Width
Controls the stereo wideness of the reverberated signal, mono on the left and stereo on the right.Pre Delay
Adds a delay to the input signal to add a distance feel and create echoed reverberations.Pre Filter
Shapes the input signal before reverberation with a multi mode resonant filter.Modulation
Lets you add some chorus or the input or on the reverberated signal.Post Equalizer
Lets you tame or boost the frequencies of your reverb tails with two shelves. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us.
