We fortunately have a dedicated FAQ section to installation, registration, and activation issues: Install, register, activate.
In this section, the How to register, install and activate my product article might be of particular interest to you.
Yes you can.
Whether you want to conserve CPU cycles, or you simply want to to keep things more clean looking, it's all very easy.
Simply hover the animated central pane to reveal the switch that will help you disable the animations.
The plug-in offers six modulation slots into which you can put any of four source types: an LFO, a multi-segment Function generator, an envelope follower, or a step sequencer.
You are free to choose the same source for the six different slots, or make any combination you like with the four source types offered.
Dist COLDFIRE offers two options for the amount of oversampling it performs when processing your track: studio, and render.
Choosing the Render option will thus allow you to preview your sound at this exact quality. However, you may wish to use the Studio setting to conserve CPU power while hearing the same processing while you work with Dist COLDFIRE alongside many other tracks.
Feedback cannot be used in conjunction with the Bit Inverter.
If you have chosen Bit inverter as the two modulation types, the Feedback tab won't even be available.
In the central area of the screen, we have a main crossfader that determines how much of each of the two distortion effects you hear.
This crossfader is available when A and B are routed in parallel, in stereo, in mid/side, and in band split.
When you want to assign the crossfader as a destination, you can simply click-and-drag on one side of the crossfader.
Using the A and B buttons, you can switch between two completely different sets of knob settings in the Main Panel, and in the Advanced Panel.
These are saved at the Preset level, so you can have different A and B settings for each Preset.
When A is active, clicking A>B will copy the A settings to B. When B is active, clicking A<B will copy the B settings to A.
Note: When closing your DAW project, the set of knob settings saved is always the one open/selected. It will be saved to A, and B will now be blank.
In the master section, you can link the input and output knobs.
When the input-output Link button is active, increasing the input level will reduce the output level.
This is a convenient feature to help avoid clipping.
However, remember that when dealing with automations in a DAW and that it touches to the input level, the output level will be changed automatically because of the link.
