Analog Lab Pro is one of three editions of Analog Lab. We've put together a comparison table here for you to see the differences between the different versions.
Note
For Arturia users who are not new to Analog Lab, Analog Lab V now becomes Analog Lab Pro.
The software application and plugins are still named Analog Lab V, so all your existing projects will open as they used to, and all your sounds will remain untouched!
Analog Lab Pro is a plugin that combines thousands of world-class presets spanning dozens of timeless instruments, instant-access controls, and flawless integration - in one place.
It gives you instant access to the most iconic synth and keyboard sounds of all time, fresh from our award-winning V Collection.
Choose from a massive selection of best vintage & modern presets using intuitive smart-filter browsing, and breathe new life into your mix with the much-loved sounds of faithfully emulated classics.
A preset contains all the settings that produce a particular sound.
The Main browser - which is always present and takes up much of the screen - is where you find your presets.
To load sounds, just click on any preset in the middle "Results" column to load it.
The preset details are displayed in the right column.
Each preset has been classified and tagged by instrument, type, subtype, style, bank, and sound designer.
You can also add independent effects to each sound such as delay, flanger, reverb, bitcrusher and overdrive, to name a few.
In the new interface of Analog Lab Pro, you can simply click or drag a preset that you want to combine with another one.
This system analyzes all of the sounds in your Analog Lab V collection and makes recommendations based on sonic similarity.
Clicking the "three dots" icon brings up the prompt below.
You can access it from your playlist by clicking on the "Go on Stage" button.
It's the simplest representation of your instruments and the controls you chose to work with, so that when you perform, you don't need to worry about other considerations.
However, we provide all the Analog Lab 4 users with a free Analog Lab Pro license.
You can easily install this new software directly from the Arturia Software Center
If you'd like to gain access to all the Analog Lab 4 presets through Analog Lab Pro, please simply make sure that both Analog Lab 4 and Analog Lab Pro are installed on your computer.
- The license should be displayed in the product list as showed below:
- If not displayed via the Arturia Software Center, make sure to check that the license is registered and displayed in the My Products section of your account on our website:
- In case activating the Analog Lab Pro license would not lead Analog Lab Play or Intro versions to switch accordingly, make sure to first deactivate your licenses and then to activate the Analog Lab Pro version only (not the Play or Intro versions) and the rest of your licenses you would like to keep on using to get back on track:
