Dear macOS users,
You can now upgrade or migrate to macOS Golden Gate.
We are proud to announce that compatibility for all Arturia products (including individual instruments, effects, utilities and Hardware devices) has been validated.
Of course, make sure to double check that your other applications and DAW(s) are also validated before moving forward in order to avoid potential issues.
What about Rosetta 2, Universal Binaries and non-native applications
-macOS Golden Gate still allows Universal Binaries (applications designed to operate both on Intel or ARM based setups) and non-native applications (Intel based only apps) to be installed and to operate properly, however this requires installing Rosetta 2 for them to work.
-If you’re asked to install Rosetta, click Install and enter your macOS user name and password to allow installation to proceed:

-You will find further information about all these aspects and an alternate install method (via Terminal) explained in the following article:
- In case any potential issues would happen after upgrading:
Make sure to double check macOS "Login Items" and "Full Disk Access" (and if already enabled, to tick them Off and On again) to ensure that Arturia Software Center, our Install Helper and background Agents still have all the needed permissions to operate properly.
To do so:
-Go to System Settings -> General -> Login Items & Extensions
-Make sure to enable (or re-enable) the "Arturia" & "Arturia Software Center" items:
-Then, go to System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Full Disk Access
-Make sure to grant Full Disk Access (or tick off and on again) to "Arturia Software Center" and other applications leading to potential issues:
Analog Experience "The Player" controllers & Legacy Compatibility
-Please note that Legacy products compatibility was not part of the validation phase and that we won't be able to guarantee that these will be fully compatible even if most of them should be working fine (Refer to the following article "Legacy products support" and to the note at the end of this article for further details).
-We previously confirmed a compatibility issue between macOS Sequoia & Tahoe and Analog Experience "The Player" controllers (Discontinued model) where no Midi Notes messages (Note ON & Note OFF) will be received (Controls seem to be though working fine) which now also applies to macOS Golden Gate.
So, we strongly advise users of this precise controller not to upgrade their OS or to keep on using it on previous OS versions only.
