We offer two ways to set up your MicroLab mk3, based on whether you're new to Arturia products or not.

MicroLab mk3 comes with both Analog Lab Intro and Ableton Live Lite.

Get started with MicroLab mk3 in Analog Lab
1. Install Analog Lab on your computer and make sure if not already done to activate it via Arturia Software Center as explained here: Activate and Install from the Arturia Software Center
2. Connect the MicroLab mk3 to your computer.
3. If you are using a DAW, make sure to enable "MicroLab mk3" MIDI port via the Preferences menu.
4. If using Standalone version, make sure to select "MicroLab mk3" MIDI port via the "Audio MIDI Settings" menu:
Program a chord: Hold "Shift" and "Hold" buttons and play a chord, or enter the notes of the chord individually (from 2 to 10 notes).
The notes entered while holding Shift and Hold will be recorded as part of your programmed chord.
Stop recording your chord: When releasing "Shift" and "Hold", the button will blink slowly to indicate that chord mode is active.
From now, play a single note will trigger your programmed chord.
Exit Chord mode: Press and release "Shift" and "Hold" buttons again. The "Hold" button will stop blinking and the keyboard will return to normal operation.
The MicroLab mk3 is compatible and can be powered by iPads and Windows tablets.
To use it with your IOS device, simply use an Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit.
The MicroLab mk3 should be automatically updated if necessary after launching Analog Lab.
