While using the interface as your computer's audio output device, media keys on many systems may no longer work to adjust system audio volume.
Please, use the Monitor or headphones knobs on the front panel of the interface to adjust volume.
Instruments equipped with pickups (Instrument Level) typically require high-impedance input to capture a good signal .
- Make sure to press the Inst button on the front panel to switch the corresponding input to high-impedance if using an Instrument Level instrument or to disable it if using a Line Level instrument:
- Make sure to also check the following aspects depending on your operating system:
Windows
-Make sure to check also that no Audio Enhancement functions are being enabled on OS side and that no third party application is currently installed and enabled such as "Nahimic" / "Sonic Studio" or other specific computer Manufacturers applications:

For other specific applications, make sure to refer to their dedicated FAQ / Knowledge base to understand how to uninstall or disable them.
macOS
-Make sure that Microphone mode is not set to "Voice Isolation" mode which can lead to potential issues:

Turn up the Gain knob on the corresponding channel to set the amplification of your signal.
- Try with another cable to see if it solves the issue.
- If you are using a dynamic microphone, check the user manual of your microphone to see how much gain it requires. The MiniFuse 2 OTG is delivering a gain of 56dB.
- If you are using a condenser microphone, check the user manual of your microphone to see if it needs phantom power. If so, press the 48v button, that will supply the required current to your microphone.
