Notes
→ As a safety measure, Midi CC7 Master Volume is not handled.
→ The following Midi CC messages are only considered if a Midi controller is being plugged, either on the AstroLab "USB Host" port, or on the "Midi Din" port.

| Parameter | CC | Sending | Receiving |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mod Wheel | 1 | Always | Always |

Please note that all these controls only send messages when no "Link" is being established between the AstroLab and Analog Lab.
Analog Lab Parameters:
Sending the following CC messages to AstroLab will allow controlling the following parameters:
| Parameter | CC | Sending | Receiving |
|---|---|---|---|
| Previous Preset | 102 | NA | Always |
| Next Preset | 103 | NA | Always |

Please note that AstroLab reacts to Faders CC messages, just like the ones visible in Analog Lab.
If AstroLab is linked to Analog Lab, such CC messages will control the Analog Lab faders:

The AstroLab can receive Program Changes from its MIDI Din input or USB C port.
These are working the same way as Analog Lab, you can find detailed instructions here:
Program Changes in V Collection 5 and above
To summarize, the AstroLab will receive Program Changes in Playlists only and as follows:
- Bank MSB number from 0 to 127 = Playlist number from 1 to 128.
- Bank LSB number from 0 to 127 = Song number from 1 to 128 (Songs are contained inside Playlists)
- Program Number from 0 to 127 = Preset number from 1 to 128 (Presets are contained inside Songs)
These messages are received by the AstroLab on the Secondary MIDI Channel which can be configured in the following menu:
"Settings" > "MIDI In/Out" menu (From 1 to 16 or ALL channels)
Notes
-The hierarchy of the Program Change is structured as follows in the AstroLab:
Playlist (MSB) > Song (LSB) > Preset (Program Number)
-MSB/LSB/PN values of 0 are equal to value 1 for AstroLab (e.g: Sending a MSB value of 0 will select the first Playlist)
Since update 1.5.0, the AstroLab has the ability to send Program Change messages to external MIDI devices.
- To send Program Changes from the AstroLab please proceed as follows:
1/Select any preset
2/Press "Shift" + "Split" (MIDI)
3/Select one Part
4/Choose the desired MIDI Channel with the “Output Channel” option to which the Program Change will be sent.
5/Go to "Bank"/"Subbank"/"Number" menu to change respectively Bank MSB/LSB & Program Number values.
6/Press the "Back" button until you reach the preset name and picture.
7/Save the changes done on the preset by pressing "Shift" + "Main wheel".
From there, next time you select the preset, Program Changes will be sent simultaneously to the MIDI Din output and USB C port.
Note
If the preset contains 2 parts, and if a Program Change has been set for each part (values other than OFF) then 2 Program Changes will be sent at the same time.
